Updated Information as of September 3rd, 2008.

We began with the Pledge of Allegiance and started off wanting to know if we would like to have an Outing for September 20th (which is the third Saturday of the month) and we coted on it, so we passed around a sheet to see who will be making it out there.  Morris plans on bringing Hamburgers out to Sept. 20th.  Nicolas passed around some gold he found while Prospecting.

Updated Information as of August 6th, 2008.

Welcome to the Highgrader Newsletter,

We began with Our famous Pledge of Allegiance and started off with Morris describing how he and Fred created a meteor Magnet that could pull out your metal fillings ( A real strong magnet out of a speaker ).  Barre brought in some tools he uses for prospecting, which was a very long handled, small round tip shovel and a short round tip shovel to break up the ground. With these tools he said that processing the dirt can last a little longer because of digging with a smaller shovel.

Updated Information as of July 2nd, 2008

The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance and discussed about the sponsored Outing we have every Month.  The club has decided to NOT bring food and drinks.  Here is the reasoning why : For the June Outing, several members signed up.  More than $20.00 in club funds were spent and the food and drinks were prepared and taken out to the claim.  No one showed up, so most of the prepared meal was wasted.  The July meeting decided that in the future Outings need to bring their own food and drinks.  Wendy Scarborough presented core samples for show and provided information about the Bull Frog Mine.  The club would like to thank Wendy for being our Speaker.
